    Developed and maintained multiple Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for hospital operations, improving day-to-day workflow efficiency and supporting secure patient data exchange across integrated healthcare systems.

    • Designed and optimized relational database schemas and query structures to improve data integrity, normalization, scalability, and application response times.
    • Implemented Docker-based deployment and monitoring workflows to make staging and production releases more consistent and reliable.
    • Provided production support by monitoring system health, resolving staging and live issues, and addressing user-reported concerns to maintain operational stability.

I start with the data model and finish with a deploy.

I'm Gil, a full-stack developer who spent four years keeping hospital EMR systems fast, correct and online. That work taught me to treat schemas, error handling and releases as part of the product, not afterthoughts.

On my own time I build operations software for small businesses: web and mobile clients, typed APIs, offline sync and automation that removes manual work.
